BUGLE GREENSPACE

Bugle Greenspace (BuGs) is a volunteer group that runs events to give opportunities for people in Bugle to improve their open spaces.

BuGs was formed in 2008 by a group of enthusiastic local residents.  With the assistance of over 50 volunteers, it has organised over ten events and helped regenerate three greenspaces.

BuGs has also secured more than £2,250 of grant funding and over £4,000 worth of gifts in kind for the local community and provided accredited training and skills development opportunities for its volunteers. BuGs has gained credibility and is often held up as an exemplar of local people making a difference. BuGs has also inspired people in nearby villages to do the same, demonstrating that enthusiasm and empowerment are contagious.

Volunteering

BuGs is open to anyone and always needs volunteers to help organise and assist at events.

If you are can spare some time and would like to help, please email or telephone 01726 852 941.
